Healthy Start is The Better World Foundation for Children´s pioneer program where 480 nutritionally balanced meals are provided weekly to hundreds of children living in a poverty stricken community located in Southern Brazil.
for the majority of the children, this meal is the mainstay of their day. In addition to receiving a lunch meal, the children are taught basic hygiene skills as a means to provide them with a healthier lifestyle.
